Meet Bam

Not everyone finds their purpose the way they’re supposed to.

Mine started on the streets of Waipahu, a city that was known more for its struggles than its opportunities.

Long before I ever picked up a tattoo machine, I was a kid chasing creativity wherever I could find it. I spent my days sketching on my homework, painting murals on walls, and leaving my mark on anything I could. Art wasn’t just something I enjoyed—it was the one thing that made sense in a world that often didn’t.

My first tattoo wasn’t done in a shop. It wasn’t done with expensive equipment. It was done in my parents garage with a homemade tattoo machine built from my sisters CD player motor, a 9-volt battery from the kitchen junk drawer, and a guitar string from my dads guitar. Looking back, it wasn’t perfect—but it was the moment that changed my life forever.

From that day forward, tattooing became more than a craft. It became an obsession.

Over the years, I’ve dedicated my life to mastering the art of tattooing—studying techniques, pushing creative boundaries, and continually refining my skills to create work that stands the test of time. What began as a passion evolved into a career that has earned recognition through multiple awards, convention honors, and sponsorship opportunities, but the real reward has always been the people who trust me with their stories.

Because that’s what tattooing is to me.

It’s not about putting ink in skin.

It’s about preserving moments.

It’s about honoring family, culture, struggles, victories, memories, and the experiences that shape who we are. Every tattoo carries meaning. Every piece tells a story. Every client walks away with something far greater than artwork—they leave with a permanent reminder of who they are and what matters most.

Today, my clients travel from all around the world to sit in my chair. Whether it’s a custom Polynesian design rooted in heritage, a large-scale black and gray project, or a deeply personal piece created from a life experience, my goal remains the same:

To create tattoos that are as meaningful as they are unforgettable.

I don’t measure success by awards, followers, or recognition. I measure it by the faith my clients place in me and the stories they allow me to bring to life.

When you wear one of my tattoos, you’re not just wearing artwork.

You’re wearing your journey.

You’re wearing your legacy.

And together, we’ll create something that will outlive us both.
